Cover Art and Stills from Sonys Upcoming Icons of Sci-Fi: Toho

Those of you yearning for the golden age of monster movies, where a man in a zipper suit wreaked havoc on a miniature set of downtown Tokyo, can get your fix on October 18th, courtesy of the Sony Pictures Entertainment release, Icons of Sci-Fi - Toho. Read on for a look at the DVD cover art and some stills to whet your appetite for some old school carnage!
Included in this set are three Ishiro Honda classics: The H-Man, Battle in Outer Space and Mothra, each of them presented in both their Japanese and U.S. versions. This is looking like a great release from Sony, so let's show them we appreciate their effort by giving this set a gander when it hits stores on August 18.

A Special Message from Megan Fox Faux PSA's are all the rage now in viral marketing so it should come as no surprise that 20th Century Fox has jumped on the bandwagon and enticed its rising star Megan Fox into recording one of her own for Jennifer's Body.
Battle in Outer Space and Mothra are two typical Sci-Fi Toho films, and in typical meaning exciting, fun and VERY colorful.
The H-Man on the other hand is one of Toho's often overlooked horror films, actually more of a horror meets cops and robbers story. The H-Man (or men I should say) gets ahold of people and melts them, its actually really cool.
Even though, picture quality aside, I think Sony does a pretty crappy job with their Toho releases with their covers usually sucking and no extras, I will but this set for the commentaries, which are the only extras included.
I have the R2s for all three films, but whatever.
