As if Toronto needed yet another reason for you to visit in the fall…
Toronto After Dark is approaching its premiere this October, and TwitchFilm’s head pirate (also the festival’s programmer extraordinaire) Todd Brown just couldn’t resist dishing a little taste of what’s to come including “…multiple varieties of the undead, talking dogs and stacks of raw beef…giant snakes, mental illness and heads bisected by shovels.”
With a portion of the festival’s schedule set to be revealed on August 29th (remaining titles will be announced in September), start practicing your Magic 8-Ball talents with these additional details:
“… four [films] from Japan, four from the USA and one each from Hong Kong, Germany, Sweden, Thailand and the Netherlands.”
The festival was a head-turner from the day it was announced; and the more I think about it, the more I despair that I won’t be there. Make sure you visit the official site, where you can sign up for email updates as well as enter to win passes to Rue Morgue’s fabulous Festival of Fear!
