One of the scariest movies of this past year was director Andres Muschietti’s take on Stephen King’s classic novel of terror, IT.

And one of the scariest scenes in the film was the opening sequence where little Georgie Denbrough met Bill Skarsgard’s nightmare clown Pennywise in a local storm drain.

But what if things hadn’t gone exactly to Pennywise’s plans, and little Georgie would have gotten away? Well, it might have looked a bit like this.

You can check out the alternate opening scene below (possibly cobbled together from various outtakes of the actual opening scene) and then let us know what you think below!

Synopsis:
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
