Would Laura Dern Be Up for Reprising Her Role of Ellie Sattler in Jurassic World 3?

One of the great joys this past year has been seeing actress Laura Dern return to the big and small screen with memorable roles in both Star Wars: The Last Jedi and “Twin Peaks: The Return.”
But is Laura Dern up for returning to the world of genetically engineered dinos and her Jurassic Park role as Dr. Elle Sattler in a possible sequel to Jurassic World?
Turns out she is.
“[It] could be fun,” she teased. “I mean, I love Ellie Sattler. She’s a tough feminist, come on! We need her back.”
I say bring the lady back for more dino-action. After all, we’ve already seen that Jeff Goldblum will be returning to the franchise with the new entry, so why not Laura Dern and Ellie Sattler?

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return alongside executive producers Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow for Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Pratt and Howard are joined by co-stars James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, and Isabella Sermon, while BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles.
Directed by J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls), the epic action-adventure is written by Jurassic World’s director, Trevorrow, and its co-writer, Derek Connolly. Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again partner with Spielberg and Trevorrow in leading the team of filmmakers for this stunning installment. Belén Atienza joins as a producer.
Look for it in theaters on June 22, 2018.
