Who would’ve thought that the day would come when we’d have two news stories on Dread Central about musicals? Fucked up.
But it’s a good thing in both cases, especially here with AICN nabbing the exclusive first look at the poster for Sweeney Todd. Sure, you can click on the pic to the right to see it slightly bigger, but your best bet is to hit AICN to see the poster in a very, very large format.
For those not in the know, Sweeney Todd stars Johnny Depp as the titular character, a barber who was wronged by too many people in his lifetime. He sets up a barber shop in London with the sinister Mrs. Lovett and begins offing anyone who ever did him wrong. Mr. Lovett makes them into meat pies.
Christmas is when Tim Burton’s vision of the musical will hit theaters, which I have to be honest seems like a weird release date, but we’ll take it!
