Saw IV poster!**UPDATE: B-D just confirmed it is the real deal! Rejoice!**

Could this be the poster for Saw IV? B-D got the first look at it, and it would make sense that Lionsgate would have one done in time for Comic-Con. It sure as hell looks authentic… If it’s not, then I hope whoever designed it gets hired by LG to design their posters cause it’s the best looking Saw poster I’ve seen since the original! Click the little image to be whisked away to see the big image, and stay tuned for a confirmation/denial as soon as one is released!

Blumhouse Reveals Halloween Poster With Michael in Full Glory!

Published

on

The poster for Blumhouse’s Halloween has been revealed and it’s almost brilliant in its simplicity. Featuring Michael’s iconic mask in the upper left, it practically looms over the blackness of the bottom right, Michael’s almost entirely black stare looking at the Halloween font. His mask is cracked and weathered, almost as though it aged and wrinkled with him, dirt and grime collecting around the eyes and nostrils. In short, it’s absolutely fantastic.

Speaking recently with Halloween Daily News, Nick Castle, who plays Michael Myers, explained, “Yes, and it’s very neighborhood-centric, you know, like the first one. It feels a lot like (the first film). There are a lot of things coinciding (in the new film) that feel like clever ways to introduce a kind of déjà vu of the first one, without feeling like it’s being copied. The script had some very clever people working on it. They were very clear on wanting to find the tone that was in the first one. It was the first thing out of their mouths really: ‘We want to do it like John did it.’

Halloween is directed by David Gordon Green based on a script he wrote with Danny McBride. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode as does Nick Castle as Michael “The Shape” Myers. They are joined by Will Patton, Andi Matichak, and Judy Greer, the latter two who play Curtis’ granddaughter and daughter, respectively. Halloween creator John Carpenter is on board as executive producer and composer.

Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

Venture back into Haddonfield when Halloween goes trick or treating on October 19.
