Either The Asylum is getting way more attention than they deserve from someone other than The Foywonder, or Rue Morgue is really slumming it this month.
A feature interview with David Michael Latt, president of The Asylum, is one of the features of Rue Morgue #70, which will be on stands August 1st. As you can see from the cover, the primary focus is Michael Myers’ big comeback thanks to Rob Zombie, but man I can’t believe they’re talking to The Asylum guys. Wow.
Other than that the next issue will feature an article on illustrator Les Edwards, author Bentley Little and a look at Gris Grimly’s Cannibal Flesh Riot! for the month, not to mention reviews of Hostel Part II (can’t wait for that one), The Thirst, Marcus and Chris Alexander gives some love to The Devil’s Nightmare, which I’m sure he’s been called more than once.
