Hook Jaw Collected Edition Swims into Stores

Although Hook Jaw was originally created to simply serve as a Jaws cash in, he’s gone on to become arguably the most recognizable shark in comic book history.

After swimming into the pages of the controversial British anthology comic Action (which was briefly withdrawn from sale because of its violent nature), Titan Comics finally bought Hook Jaw back into the limelight with an eponymous new ongoing series from author Si Spurrier and artist Connor Boyle. If you didn’t pick up the individual issues when they hit stores earlier this year, you can now purchase the recently released collected edition from both Amazon and ComiXology.

The covers for the series were created by Boyle alongside Luis Guerrero, Dylan Teague, and Nick Percival, and they are certainly things of beauty. Hook Jaw is finally back, and this time, at long last, he’s here to stay.

Synopsis:
The iconic and controversial comic series Hookjaw returns in an all-new series! The seas off the coast of Africa are the setting for an action-packed, visceral tale of the Great White shark that is a relentless force of nature! Research scientists, the US military, Somali pirates… all of them may feel they’re the hero of the story, but they have reckoned without the near-mythical Hookjaw!
