Fests for Monsters & Blobs!

In order to kill two birds with one stone, we are roping two different festivals into one story. First up is BlobFest, which will be taking place this weekend on July 13th and 14th!
Come celebrate 50 years of The Blob right where it first hit the silver screen at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, PA! Some of the guests scheduled for the event include Wes Shank, our own lovely Kyra Schon, Tom Savini and of course the Blob itself!
Contests for costumes, tinfoil hats, and films will be part of the event along with live music and screenings of the original Blob film in the very theatre it crawled into five decades ago! For more information on the event and hotel reservations, click here!
Next on the festival circuit is a six-week long barrage of monster films at the Grand Illusion Cinema in Seattle, Washington!
Starting this evening with Swamp Thing, the Monsters Attack fest will run five different creature features during spans of two to three weeks at a time! Some of the other films to expect during this period include The Gate and the epic Godzilla, Mothra & King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack!. Holy damn!!!
