Directed by Ethan Wiley

Ah, it’s the “how many covers can we rip off in one?” game. Gotcha. That’s a fun game, granted, but should someone like Lionsgate really be doing it? Anyway, Brutal is about what happens when a sheriff and his hot, nubile deputy are on the trail of a sadistic killer, and what happens when it’s discovered that she is next on his list. Bored yet? Me, too. Buy it here!

Click to see it full size!Five Bloody Graves/Nurse Sherri (1979/1978)
Directed by Al Adamson

Wow… this one just sounds too good to be true. Five Bloody Graves is the story of a monstrous pack of injuns who are making lives miserable, and the only man who can stop them; Ben Thompson, who rides with Death and Terror at his side. Goddam. Nurse Sherri is about a girl who is possessed by the spirit of a dead necromancer and becomes a killing machine. Her two friends must find the dead ‘mancer and send him back to hell to bring an end to it all! Buy it here!

Click to see it full size!Nailed (2006)
Directed by Gabriel Dorwick

I have to admit this Nailed (another movie with the same name is due out in October, I believe) has a pretty intriguing premise; A mind control cocktail is discovered that, when injected into the head of the world’s unwanted, creates a new slave race. When one of them wakes up with no memory, however, he has to put the pieces together before the slave-creating companies put an end to him. It’s low-budget so don’t expect to see massive armies of mindless slaves, but if done right this could be worth a look. Buy it here!

Click to see it full size!Shark Attack in the Mediterranean (2004)
Directed by Jorgo Papavassiliou

What the hell is this? A giant shark movie from Germany? Well, Foy sure was happy about it when he first mentioned it back here, and you know it takes a lot for him to raise an eyebrow. A helicopter pilot is seeking solace on an exotic island when a giant, 35-foot shark shows up and starts making life miserable for pretty much everyone. How fortuitous that it happens to be the same shark that killed his wife then, eh? Buy it here!
