#SDCC17: AMC Unveils The Walking Dead/Fear the Walking Dead Artwork Plus The Walking Dead Season 8 Premiere Date

One thing we always look forward to during the San Diego Comic-Con is the announcement of when the new season of “The Walking Dead” is arriving, and AMC has jumped the gun a bit by revealing the Season 8 premiere date along with the official artwork for both that show as well as its sister series, “Fear the Walking Dead,” today. Per the new “The Walking Dead” key art, October 22nd will be the Season 8 premiere date, which coincides with the series’ 100th episode. As announced previously, “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 3B will kick off on September 10th.

AMC will also be present at MLK Park during SDCC 2017 with a fan activation for fans of both shows. Below are the details. For info on the panels, which are taking place Friday, July 21st, click here.

Sprawling outdoor activation space will feature interactive experiences for fans of the hit series “The Walking Dead” and “Fear the Walking Dead.”
