Variety announced the Ryan Gosling has signed on to play the father in Bones, starring alongside Rachel Weisz as a set of parents who are dealing with the death of their child, who watches over them and her killer, from her own personal heaven.
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Alice Sebold; the script was penned by Jackson and King Kong/Lord of the Rings collaborators Fran Walsh & Philippa Boyens. Since it’s not set to roll until October with locations in Pennsylvania and New Zealand, expect to hear a lot more about it in the coming months!
