Lloyd Kaufman and Troma Fans Shut Down By Police at Cannes!

While it would seem that a film festival would be the best place for a film studio to have some fun, it would appear that this is no longer the case. Lloyd Kaufman and several people marching and holding signs in support of Troma have apparently been accosted by local authorities, who shut down their parade.

We got in direct contact with Kaufman who told us, “The Elites want to police out all independent competition. Sundance has done it; now Cannes. Disney can wear masks and carry signs but not Troma! More $ and power going to the elite few! Cannes is a good metaphor for FCC killing Net Neutrality on the internet!

“They did put Toxie & our team up against the wall! Just like Law and Order! They threatened to take me in but only took info from my license,” Kaufman explains.

As of now, there’s no need to worry as Kaufman is out and all smiles, as you can see below!
