The Incredible Shrinking Marvel Zombies

If you haven’t heard of the Marvel Zombies mini comic series, you’ve missed out big time. The Zombies series and its cross-over with Ash from Evil Dead have been the funniest, if not the best, thing to happen to Marvel in what seems like decades.
For more about the comics check out our previous articles here. Today we’re not going to be looking at the series itself, but a new line of figures set to debut in late September. With standard size figures already looming, another size branch has just been announced from Diamond Select: Art Asylum’s Marvel Zombies Minimates!
Being an avid collector of previous Marvel Minimates this is indeed welcome news. I can only take so many variations of Spider-Man before they start looking the same, but if you throw in some exposed bones and a flesh eating grin, everything seem new and alive again. I hate puns…
Wolverine, Colonel America, Powerman (in his Hero-For-Hire costume) and the Hulk will be joining the undead wall crawler in the same pack that will retail for $19.99. Seems like reasonable price and hopefully more will follow. This may even lead to some Army of Darkness minimates!
