Fight a Brutal Game of Survival in Death’s Gambit

The Dark Souls series has proved to be so insanely popular among the masses that it’s now seen as an honour for any other game to be compared to From Software’s insanely difficult dark fantasy saga.
One such game is the upcoming 2D platformer Death’s Gambit from developer White Rabbit, where you become “the agent of Death and rid this world of immortals.” And as you’ve probably detected from the title, it’s a game in which you will die. A lot. And I don’t image that it will be easy to focus on the unforgivingly hard gameplay when you’re too busy admiring the gorgeous art style.
So can Death’s Gambit live up to its promise of being the next Dark Souls? Guess we’ll just have to wait and see if the comparisons really can be made. Keep an eye on Steam ahead of its release date.
