E3 2016: Prey Is Alive! Reveal Trailer from the Bethesda Conference

Somewhere, out in the GameStop reservation nether, sits my long-lost pre-order for Prey 2. I was crushed when the game was canceled in 2014, as it looked like an FPS version of that awesome Star Wars: Bounty Hunter game. When this trailer first started playing at the BE3 event, I was shocked:
That’s right, people; Prey is alive! And it looks… totally different. But different can be a good thing. It’s lost the goofy, space vigilante theme and instead has horror, time travel, and shadow monsters. It’s got a 12 Monkeys mixed with Dead Space and a bit of SOMA vibe, and I can definitely dig that. And with Arkane Studios—the team behind the critically acclaimed Dishonored—at the helm, you know we are in store for a dark, deep, and disturbing world.
More information will be revealed this August during QuakeCon, so stay tuned.
