First Images Introduce The Girl With All the Gifts

The traditional zombie movie will be injected with new life in Colm McCarthy’s upcoming film The Girl With All the Gifts, based on the same-named novel penned by Mike Carey. The story centers on a fungal infection that turns the populace into zombies and features a group of children who are essentially half-human, half-zombie.

The Girl With All the Gifts gets a UK release on September 9. Written by Mike Carey, the film stars Gemma Arterton, Glenn Close, Paddy Considine, and Sennia Nanua.
Synopsis:
A scientist and a teacher living in a dystopian future embark on a journey of survival with a special young girl named Melanie.
