Though we’ve not been covering the second Hellboy animated movie, Blood & Iron, as much as we did the first, Sword of Storms, that by no means is any indication that we’re any less interested. If nothing else this one has fascinated us even more since it’s more of a straightforward horror tale than Storms; the info just hasn’t really been out there for it.
To try and make up for that, our man Nomad sat down with director Tad Stones and writer/creator Mike Mignola at the recent New York Comic Con to discuss the new animated film and why fans should care about it. The movie premieres on Saturday, March 17th on the Cartoon Network as part of their Toonami lineup, so make sure you check it out.
One thing you should know about the video: While Paul was doing his thing, I was sitting down across the room with John Landis for a video interview (which you will see soon), so the voice you hear very loudly in the background is Mr. Landis being boisterous.
