Ridley Scott Says Alien: Covenant Will Feature All Xenomorph Variants

If, like me, you were disappointed by how Prometheus only shoehorned in a Xenomorph right at the very end, the you’re in luck as Ridley Scott has confirmed that the sequel, titled Alien: Covenant, will be filled with them. All the Xenomorph variants that that have appeared throughout the franchise will be making appearances.
In an interview with The Wrap, Scott said the following: “We’ll have them all: egg, face-hugger, chest-burster, then the big boy. I think maybe we can go another round or two.”
At first I was only mildly excited for Alien: Covenant, but now my anticipation has gone through the roof. It’s great to see Scott embracing the franchise that he created in a way that will thrill the fans. And the Xenomorphs are arguably the coolest aliens in cinema history, so it’s about time we saw them on the big screen again.
Alien: Covenant stars Noomi Repace and Michael Fassbender and will be released on 6 October 2017.
