Even though the folks behind Rue Morgue only took a month off, it seems like it’s been a long time since we’ve talked about the mag. That ends now, as we just got word about the next issue, which looks to be fantastic!
In case you couldn’t guess by the cover, the primary focus of this issue will be on Phamtasm, Don Cosacrelli’s surreal horror masterpiece, in celebration of its upcoming special edition release from Anchor Bay. Coscarelli is grilled on the film, as are star Angus Scrimm, Reggie Bannister and more.
A discussion with Tad Stones and Mike Mignola covers Hellboy Animated wherein the duo chat about the first movie, Sword of Storms, and its follow up, Blood and Iron, with I’m sure some talk of the live-action sequel thrown in as well!
A history of Aurora model kits, interview with the mayor of Ghoultown, TX and look at Mick Garris’ novel debut, Development Hell (review), round out the issue, along with a ton of the usual goodies.
