7 of the Best Military Horror Movies

The Bunker (2001)

Seven WWII German soldiers who are surrounded by their enemies while locked in a bunker decide to go into the tunnels to try to save themselves. While they are down there, strange things start to happen… is it supernatural, or are they slowly going mad? I think they may have been going mad. War is hell, and it messes with the mind.

Dead Snow (2009)

Ah, Dead Snow. Nazi zombies? Say no more! I must say this movie is brilliant! Not only is it done well, but I found myself not wanting it to end! Horny college students and zombies out to get revenge, accidentally killing your girlfriend and having to chop your own arm off… it all makes for a fun time.

Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead (2014)

AGAIN! How brilliant is this movie! For a sequel, it is very well done and just as enjoyable as the original, if not better. I mean, come on! Nazi zombies vs. Russian zombies? Yes, please, I want more!

Outpost (2007)

With one of my favorite actors, Ray Stevenson, this movie gave us the creepiness of war and the viciousness of the mind. Eight soldiers who find an old outpost and unleash something evil within it sounds like a nightmare I can dig, and I did.

As for horror movies in general, I’d have to say those in the military style are some of my all-time favorites, and I look forward to the next one.
