#SDCC15: The Walking Dead Season 6 Trailer Is Four Minutes of Awesome

The sixth season of “The Walking Dead” is set to pick up directly after the events of Season 5, and we now know that it’s headed to AMC on October 11th. The info comes courtesy of Comic-Con, where the trailer just premiered to a hungry crowd of walker-lovers. And now it’s ready for you to consume.
From the looks of things, Season 6 will largely center on the continued turmoil between Rick Grimes’ crew and the Alexandria gang, and the four-minute trailer also indicates that Rick and Morgan will be engaging in a battle of their own. Of course, there are also a whole lot of gnarly zombies, as well as plenty of gore.
One of the biggest surprises in the trailer is an appearance from Ethan Embry, who looks to be playing a new character who’s not too happy with the way Rick Grimes conducts business. A pleasant treat to see him in there, considering we hadn’t previously learned of Embry’s involvement.
