Finally, all that breathless anticipation has paid off; Ghost House Pictures just posted the first behind-the-scenes clip from Boogeyman 2 on their official site! It truly is a day to rejoice.
Sorry, laying it on a bit thick there, so let’s have us some plot. The sequel finds a girl checking herself into a mental health facility to in the hopes of conquering her life-long fear of boogeymen. Unfortunately she soon learns that her fear is all-too real and now she’s got to deal with fighting off the titular demons if she wants to live.
Though the first film didn’t exactly set the box office on fire, it apparently did well enough for Ghost House to move on a follow-up, though granted with none of the same talent involved, which might not necessarily be a bad thing. The sequel is the directing debut of editor Jeff Betancourt, who has edited everything from Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle to When a Stranger Calls. Check out the clip right here to see how the shoot is shaping up so far!
