Fango Comics Update!

Strangeland comicBesides being Kurtzman’s next film project, which we told you about right here, Bump will also be Fango Comic’s first title. Editor Scott Licina boasts that Fango will release 8 titles in it’s first year, with projects like a new Strangeland comic (pictured) written by Dee Schneider’s son, comic adaptations of writer Ray Garton’s Live Girls and his upcoming “erotic werewolf tale” Ravenous, Jack Ketchum’s Off Season and the immortal blood thirsty heroin with the killer cleavage, Vampirella! With art tasks being handled primarily by Mark Kidwell and heavy hitters like Alex Rossand Bernie Wrightson dropping in, it looks like Fango Comics is off to a great start.

On a related note, Fango will also be jumping into the collectibles arena, teasing Weekend of Horror visitors with a life-size head bust from Robert Kurtzman’s The Rage, which Scott Licina vows will be priced nowhere near the 300 dollar price tag you would expect … and will be unbreakable! Is Fango integrating NASA science into the world of horror collectibles? Only time will tell.
