Three New Female Vamps Heading to The Vampire Diaries in Season 7

It’s hard to believe we’re heading into the seventh season of The CW’s popular “The Vampire Diaries,” but that’s indeed the case. And now, with series star Nina Dobrev having left the fold, the show is in need of an influx of estrogen, and with three new female vampires heading our way – two of whom comprise “TVD‘s” first same-sex couple – that’s exactly what we’re getting!

Per TVLine, based on preliminary casting intel, here are the three new characters, subject to change of course:

Nora and Mary Louise are a dangerous pair of down-low lovers with murderous tendencies. The vampires, both turned in their mid-20s, have kept their relationship a secret for more than a century, and although their connection is clear to those able to infiltrate their inner circle, Mary Louise’s constant doting can sometimes feel a bit smothery for fiery Nora’s liking. Still, anyone foolish enough to cross either of them will feel both their wraths.

Valerie is another 20-something vampire who relies on her dry sense of humor to counter a life of pain and dismissal. She’ll encounter someone who helps her remember the happier, free spirit she once was — and she’ll do whatever it takes to keep him in her life.

“Him”?  Could Stefan be getting a new love interest?  Enzo maybe?  Or possibly Alaric?  Let us know your predictions, and we’ll have more after next week’s San Diego Comic-Con. “The Vampire Diaries” panel is one of the last of the event, taking place on Sunday, July 12th, and below is a look at the “TVD” SDCC 15 souvenir bag.

The seventh season premiere is Thursday, October 8th, at 8PM. For more info visit “The Vampire Diaries” on CWTV.com, “like” “The Vampire Diaries” on Facebook, and follow “The Vampire Diaries” on Twitter.
