Jaume Collet-Serra Swimming In the Deep?

We told you a while back that Clash of the Titans remake director Louis Leterrier vacated Sony’s shark attack movie In the Deep. Today Deadline is reporting that Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan) is circling to direct the flick for Sony Pictures.
In the Deep boasts a Black List script by Anthony Jaswinski. The story follows a young woman who is dealing with the recent death of her mother. She is surfing on an isolated beach and gets stranded 20 yards offshore on a buoy. What lies between her and the shore is a huge great white shark.
