Slash Prepares to Explore The Hell Within

Slash isn’t just a phenomenal guitarist and an all-around cool guy — he’s also an up-and-coming horror film producer. The former Guns N’ Roses rocker is prepping his next foray into the genre with The Hell Within, which should begin production in January of 2016. Slash will reportedly produce the flick through his aptly-titled production company, Slasher Films.
Since Slash is an extremely busy guy, he isn’t writing or directing The Hell Within. Instead, Jeff Buhler (The Midnight Meat Train) will tackle scripting duties while filmmaker Dennison Ramalho (Embodiment of Evil, The ABCs of Death 2) will step behind the camera. Benito Mueller and Wolfgang Mueller will help Slash produce the flick.
According to Blabbermouth, the film tells the story of “a woman from New York on a quest into the heart of the Brazilian jungle to save a missing girl, only to discover that the child was just the beginning.” In other words, expect lots of jungle-oriented carnage.
For those who may have missed it, Slasher Films released its first endeavor, Nothing Left to Fear, back in 2013. Slash described the experience as a “crash course in learning the film business” so here’s hoping the talented guitarist has an easier time with The Hell Within.
