Who here remembers Roger Corman’s classic X: The Man With the X-Ray Eyes? Anyone? If you do, you’re either an uber-fan like me or well on your way to (or past) middle age. In any event the film is up next for the old remake treatment with a great name attached to direct.
Variety reports tonight that Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, a name you may know from his stellar direction on 28 Weeks Later, has made a deal with MGM to develop a film based on director Roger Corman’s 1963 popcorn flick.
The original starred Ray Milland as a scientist who has a near breakthrough in X-ray vision technology when his funding is cut off. So what’s a guy to do when he’s got no more cash?
