Faerch Too Old To Play Young Myers Again?

Faerch too old to play young Myers?Interesting developments coming out of Rob Zombie’s “>Halloween 2 shoot in Georgia. Apparently the original Young Michael, Daeg Faerch, may indeed be out of the role this time around.

Bloody Disgusting reports that Faerch, who was slated to play the boy-shape one more time, has just grown up a bit too much to pull it off. Apparently, he’s even taller than Sheri Moon Zombie now, so that just won’t work in a flashback scene.

Considering Faerch owned that role, it’s gonna be really interesting to see if Zombie does do some recasting. Me? I say less flashbacks, more new stuff, but Daeg … you’ll be missed, buddy!

Keep it here for more, and look for Halloween 2 in theatres August 28th, 2009!

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

    • I would have liked the first part of the remake if the movie and killers names were changed. The backstory of a serial killer is interesting, but I just don’t want Michael Myers backstory. I don’t want to understand him.

  1. It must be just me, but I LOVED RZ’s remake, thought it was better than the original, and I cannot wait to see the remake of H2.
I really hope he finds a way to use Daeg, though. It won’t be the same without him.

      • Hey I just loved how super aggressive and scary MM was in the remake. The scene where MM kills Big Joe Grizzly was awesome, and I also liked when MM kills all the deputies during his transfer – so raw, fast and powerful! Almost like a animal or demon.

  2. Shame. Daeg was the only thing I really liked from the remake. That being said, how much more ground can they cover with young Michael?
