Another horror flick is headed our way as Deadline is reporting that Ashley Bell, Darby Stanchfield, Pat Healy, and Alan Ruck are boarding crime caper/horror film Carnage Park. Written and directed by Mickey Keating, the film goes into production on May 11 in Los Angeles.
Set during the 1970s, Carnage Park follows a pair of wannabe crooks who botch a bank heist and flee into the desert. There, they stumble upon Carnage Park, a remote wilderness occupied by a psychotic ex-military sniper. Keating’s first feature, Ritual, was distributed by Lionsgate, and his pic Pod recently premiered at SXSW and was acquired by Vertical. Diablo Entertainment, headed up by producers Eric B. Fleischman and Sean Tabibian, are producing and financing Carnage Park.
More on this one soon!
