Dinner for Fiends: Two Years of Dread!

As some of you may be aware, tomorrow (July 4th, 2008) is Dread Central’s two-year anniversary online as our own independent, ass kicking, horror loving, monster hugging entity. And we thought it only appropriate that we celebrate with a special stroke-filled Dinner for Fiends!

Three Discs of Halloween, Plus Mothers & Feast DVD News

Just what you’ve all been begging for: a 3-disc edition of Rob Zombie’s Halloween (DVD review)! It’s like Christmas a few months early this October 21st!

    Three Mother of Tears Clips

Excited about the long awaited third entry in Argento's Three Mothers trilogy, Mother of Tears (review here)? We are too, and to get things cooking we have three clips for your viewing pleasure!

    Zine Review: Rue Morgue #78

Issue #78 May 2008 The focus in this month’s Rue Morgue is something we’ve been trying to do a Dinner for Fiends about for the last month or so; the new wave of French horror. Sadly, there’s not a helluva lot to talk about since there are only a handful of movies that are making up this new trend, but it’s nice to see them put it in the forefront for the fans.

Complete Mother of Tears Theater List!

Mother of Tears U.S. Site Opens

Though early word on the film has been mixed at best, that shouldn’t stop us from getting excited about finally seeing some U.S. love for Dario Argento’s Mother of Tears (review), should it? No freakin’ way!

Mother of Tears in Theatres Soon!

Dario Argento's Mother of Tears (review) will be getting a limited theatrical release starting June 6th, 2008, but don't expect it to show up in every state!

    Argento, Friday Box Sets?

Over the past few days we’ve received a couple of rumors of upcoming DVD box sets that I just want to throw against the wall and see what sticks, since it’s going to be a slow news day thanks to the “holiday”.

    U.S. Mother of Tears Trailer!

I know you’ve been waiting for it; we have, too. Now the wait is over! Fangoria just posted their exclusive first look at the U.S. trailer for Dario Argento’s Mother of Tears, the last in his “Three Mothers” trilogy!

    Mother of Tears Poster, Trailer

Now this is just a damn fine teaser trailer, right here. Yahoo! Movies Italy got the first look at the Mother of Tears poster and trailer, both of which kick copious forms of ass.

    Argento's Tears Delayed?

Some slightly disturbing news reared its head over at the official site for Profondo Rosso, the Rome-based horror store who deals with a lot of Dario Argento's personal goods.
