The unrated South Korean monster movie Sector 7 is about to make its way onto the US mainland, and we couldn’t be happier. South Korea's first 3D horror film promises to be slick, stunning and enthralling. Really a true gift to the horror fan. Frequently compared to Joon-ho Bong's 2006 hit The Host, Sector 7 looks to be just as effective with another mutant beast ready to raise Hades.
To make a good monster nowadays, you have to do one of two things ... either show the audience something it hasn't seen before or throw a guy in a rubber suit and have him stomp a city. Sector 7 opts to bring us a new creature that looks kind of like what you'd get if Leviathan starting mating with lobsters.
Even though there's not a trace of English subtitles to be found anywhere, it's always good to sit back and dig on some cool behind-the-scenes footage from a monster movie. Case in point ... Sector 7.
