He's certainly appeared in his fair share of TV flops, but now Jason Gedrick is heading to a sure-fire winner as the actor has signed on to "Dexter" Season 7 in a recurring role, joining the previously announced Ray Stevenson in what fans are hoping will be a return to its glory days for the series.

David Nevins, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc., announced today that the network's popular series "Dexter" will make its seventh season premiere on Sunday, September 30th, at 9:00 PM ET/PT, followed by the second season premiere of Golden Globe-winning drama series "Homeland" at 10:00 PM ET/PT.
After what we thought was a killer start to its sixth season, "Dexter" pretty much ran out of steam by the end - we blame it on the absence of Mos Def - but we have to admit the climax was a welcome surprise. To avoid spoiling it for those who haven't seen it, we'll refrain from saying anything else and turn things over to showrunner Scott Buck.
Nominees were announced today, December 14th, for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, and despite a few oversights that we're pretty surprised by (for instance, where the hell is Claire Danes from "Homeland"?), we were pretty pleased to see a few horror entries, especially in the television categories.
