Dread regulars know that I'm one of the few who absolutely loved the finale of "Dexter." I'll make no concessions about the final season being rather lackluster, but the show ended its run in a way that was both poetic and fitting for the titular character. Regardless, here's a fan-made proposition for the final season.
Maybe you never got around to watching "Dexter," or maybe you're one of the lucky ones who stopped watching a few seasons ago but are curious about the outcome. Well, if you're a Netflix subscriber, you can see what you've missed beginning on Halloween!

If there's anyone on TV right now who can relate to Jason Voorhees, it's Dexter. Our favorite serial killer since 2006, Dex pays homage to Friday the 13th in this new photo which popped up on the "Dexter" Facebook page this morning.

Now that we've caught up with "Dexter," we can't decide if we're happy Time Warner gave us Showtime back or not. But we're not about to give up watching when we're so close to the end!
Three more have signed on for Jim Mickle's adaptation of Joe R. Lansdale's Cold in July as Sam Shepard (Killing Them Softly, Mud), Don Johnson (Django Unchained), and Vinessa Shaw (Two Lovers) have joined lead Michael C. Hall ("Dexter").
