The long road to get Scalene out to the masses is almost over for indie filmmaker Zack Parker, as Breaking Glass Pictures has announced a July 31st Blu-ray/DVD release date for his film Scalene, a dark, edgy thriller that asks you to decide the truth for yourself in the face of tragedy.
Fans of the Nightmare on Elm Street re-do (all two of them) and A Haunting in Connecticut will be happy to hear that a very familiar young face on the horror scene has joined Beautiful Creatures.
There's some quick casting news coming in for Beautiful Creatures: The previously announced Jack O'Connell has dropped out of the film due to scheduling conflicts and will be replaced by Alden Ehrenreich.

It isn't often that little indie films get week-long theatrical runs, especially in the Big Apple, but from January 20th-26th, 2012, you can catch Zack Parker's Scalene at the reRun Theater in Brooklyn.
