Long Weekend
Jesus is On His Way to Nature's Grave
Poor James Caviezel. No matter what movie he stars in, he's probably going to be forever known as Jesus. I suppose there are worse things an actor can be remembered for than playing Christ. Having just finished fighting an alien monster in Outlander, Caviezel will next be seen on DVD this August battling more earthly terrors on his way to Nature's Grave. God help him.

AFM: The 2008 Round-up!
Horror may currently be in a slump, but the 2008 American Film Market has shown a huge light at the end of the tunnel. This year showcased a record number of horror titles and Dread Central was on hand to catch a great deal of them. Some were good, some were bad but all showed that this genre still has plenty of lifeblood left. Many exhibitors were also kind enough to show us movie promos, while others coldly showed us the door (Lesbian Vampire Killers, I’m looking at you).

Blanks on a Long Weekend
It’s good to hear that Jamie Blanks (Urban Legend) is staying away from Hollywood for the most part; they seem to screw up the man’s work and turn it into nigh unwatchable tripe.
