Legendary Pictures
The movie killing beast known around here as the fearsome Bloatedicus Budgetasaurus has struck again, this time dealing a death blow to a long talked about project that's gone straight to hell.
Some new one-sheets have hit the Net in support of the second in the proposed trilogy of Titans movies, Wrath of the Titans, one of which features Sam Worthington looking like the Gods imported his haircut from the Seventies. Check it out!
Some more casting news coming in for Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' The Seventh Son. Variety reports that "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington has found his next role before jumping back into production on the HBO series.
Well now. This sucks. After a truly stellar trailer that's had us excited since it debuted, Warner Brothers has announced that the new film from Legendary Pictures and director Bryan Singer, Jack the Giant Killer, has been bumped from its June 15th release date to March 22, 2013.
We've seen dozens of fake designs for Legendary's upcoming Godzilla flick, and all have proved to be fake. Recently, though, the folks at Toho Kingdom got their hands on two new images of what the creature could look like that are indeed the real McCoy.
Just hours after debuting the one-sheet and first trailer for Wrath of the Titans, we've gotten our claws into a new creature banner that's loaded with evil, evil things. Just how we like 'em! Dig it!
From what we've seen and heard so far with regard to Jonathan Liebesman's Wrath of the Titans, we've remained hopefully optimistic; and now that an official trailer is here, we'll all have a better idea of what's in store for us in this sequel that hardly anybody was clamoring for. Check it out, and let us know what you think!
You know how sometimes you hear about a project and then have zero interest until you come across it again later? Yeah, that's the case with us and Bryan Singer's upcoming movie, Jack the Giant Killer, which, judging from the trailer alone, is not your grandfather's Jack and the Beanstalk tale.
This year a giant monster has been running roughshod throughout Hollywood stomping productions into the ground, causing general mayhem and breaking the hearts of fans. It's name ... Bloatedicus Budgetasaurus, and this beast just struck again!
Artist Michael Kaluta (Starstruck, The Shadow) and writer Steve Niles (30 Days of Night, Remains) are creating a graphic novel of epic proportions for Legendary Comics that will be a tie-in with Legendary Pictures' big screen adaptation of the classic tale Paradise Lost helmed by Alex Proyas, and today we have an update on what Niles and Kaluta are up to.
In the northeast corner of the Dread Central offices, we have a tiny shrine built to the king of all monsters, Godzilla. Each morning we leave an offering of mini-military vehicles in a tiny basket at his mighty feet, just praying that the new American flick will actually be good. Speaking of which, there's been some more movement on its front.
Back in July we told you about a little flick called Here There Be Monsters, a movie about Revolutionary War Naval hero John Paul Jones and his battles with sea monsters. At that time Robert Zemeckis was involved with steering the ship, but apparently that ship has sailed.
No, we're not talking about the soft-core porn network, and we're not peddling personal massagers (not yet anyway, though we do endorse them). What we have on tap here is the latest bit of confirmed casting news for Alex Proyas' take on the classic tale Paradise Lost.
While Ghostbusters is without question a favorite film of mine, I've always wondered what it would have been like if it were played for scares instead of laughs. With Spectral we may just be getting our chance to find out.
Even more casting news has come in for Alex Proyas' take on the classic tale Paradise Lost. Let's face it; running Hell is probably a chore and a half what with all the torturing that needs to be done, etc. I mean, who exactly keeps stoking those fires anyway? Even big Lou can use a hand.
