As we reported previously, Jay Woelfel's Live Evil will have a 300-screen theatrical release starting September 18th, as well as being available on DVD and OnDemand November 3rd. To honor the occasion, the film also has a spiffy new teaser poster.

We reported earlier that Jay Woelfel's Live Evil had won an theatrical release of 300 screens starting September 18th, as well as a DVD release in mid-November. There's been an update to this story, in that we recently learned that the film is also getting a premiere at the Sci-Fi Center in Las Vegas.

It's definitely true that good things come to those who wait. We were just getting ready to post the news that indie anthology Edges of Darkness had been confirmed for a September 22nd DVD release from Anchor Bay when the cover art popped into our mailbox.

We've been following the progress of Greg Lamberson’s Slime City Massacre fairly closely, and today we got word that filming of the indie flick has wrapped after a 19-day shoot at various locations in Buffalo, New York, including an abandoned postal facility adjacent to the dormant Central Terminal Station. In addition, Lee Perkins, who plays Mason, has provided with the first look at his character, both pre- and post-sliming.

Actor Lee Perkins dropped us a line today to let us know that actress and Playboy model Angelina Leigh has joined him in the cast of Slime City Massacre, Greg Lamberson's sequel to his 1980's cult hit Slime City, which we first told you about a few weeks ago.

We just got a heads up that there’s another new teaser online for the indie anthology Edges of Darkness, which is comprised of three tales set against the backdrop of a zombie apocalypse. Still no word on a release for the film yet, but I’m sure we’ll hear more soon.

You see, anything that can possibly change our blood makes it instantly undrinkable for a vampire. At least that’s the future according to Jay Woelfel’s Live Evil.
