Amok Time Unveils World’s First Herbert West Action Figure

Dr. Herbert West’s road to the toy shelf has been a whole lot rockier than most of his horror icon pals, various issues over the years preventing planned toys from ever actually being produced. That long journey finally reaches its end in the coming months, as Amok Time is hard at work on bringing the very first Re-Animator action figure into our lives.
Over on their Facebook page today, the toy company unveiled prototype images of their upcoming Herbert West figure, which will be a part of their Monstarz line and is set to include a slew of totally awesome accessories.
Pictured along with the articulated action figure are Dr. Hill’s severed head from the first film and even Dr. Hill’s severed-and-winged head from Bride of Re-Animator, along with a syringe and the sequel’s finger/eyeball monstrosity.
Check out the images below, and keep in mind that what you’re looking at is merely a prototype. As Amok Time notes, “arm articulation will be added, paint will have a few changes and eye glass lenses will be clearer than in the pictures.”
