When Doctor Gash goes into the screening room for this Friday's presentation of American Maniacs on Constellation.tv, he won't be alone.
We've been talking about the indie horror flick Fetch for well over a year now around these parts, and the good news is that it's coming your way in just a few weeks. The weird news? It's under a new title, American Maniacs.
In anticipation of The Taking of Savannah premiering later this month at the Louisville, Kentucky, Fright Night Film Fest, Jeff Chitty, the film's director, has provided us with an exclusive clip along with a bit of updated casting news.
Things are coming full circle for director Jeff Chitty's The Taking of Savannah. The film's trailer debuted at last year's Fright Night Film Fest in Louisville, Kentucky, and over the upcoming weekend of July 22nd-24th, the film itself will premiere at the very same event!
One thing that can really make or break a horror film is the choice of music for its soundtrack, and no one is more aware of that than Fetch producer Theodore Loscalzo, who dropped us a line with a little behind-the-scenes info on the scoring process for the film along with a few clips of the types of music we can expect to hear in the finished product.
Here at Dread Central we pride ourselves on our support of the little guys, aka the indie films that you might not hear about otherwise. To thank us -- and our readers -- DrippingDead Films has made available five full-size posters from Fetch printed on vellum and signed by the film's stars Ashlynn Yennie, Shawn G. Smith, and Jason Curtis Miller for us to give away
As we reported previously, the first trailer for producer/director Jeff Chitty's The Taking of Savannah had its world premiere a few weeks ago at the Fright Night Film Fest in Louisville, Kentucky. Missed it? We did, too, so Chitty has provided Dread Central with the trailer's exclusive online debut. Synopsis:
Producer/director Jeff Chitty's The Taking of Savannah is now in post-production, which means it's time for some early artwork for the film, and we've got your first look at two different versions of the debut poster -- one "safe" and one that you may not want your co-workers or kids to see.
We've been following the progress of indie flick Fetch for a while now so it's great to see that the filmmakers have set a premiere date, and we've got the early word on the when and where right here!
The full schedule for Fright Night Film Fest, which runs July 30th-August 1st in Louisville, Kentucky, isn't quite finalized yet, but we did hear from producer/director Jeff Chitty that the trailer for his current project, The Taking of Savannah, will be having its world premiere there. Synopsis:
Producer/director Jeff Chitty of Digital Grindhouse Entertainment dropped us a line with some early info on and a few exclusive photos from his current project The Taking of Savannah, which is filming in the Kansas City, Missouri, area now with an anticipated completion date in the next month or two. Synopsis:
We've been telling you guys about the indie film Fetch for some time now, and today Dread Central is pleased to debut the first official poster for the film provided to us by producer Ted LoScalzo of DrippingDead Films.
We've been telling you guys about the indie film Fetch for about six months now, and today we get to show you a nice video taste of it as producer Ted LoScalzo of DrippingDead Films just sent over the official trailer.
A new update just landed in our inbox today on indie project Fetch, director C.M. Downs' upcoming feature that just wrapped up principal photography in Kansas, including a fresh batch of stills that have been added to our Fetch gallery.
