Horror fans will get their own subversive version of High School Musical when Anna and the Apocalypse hits limited theaters on November 30th. The latest trailer is brimming with irreverent gore and violence in what appears to be an epic musical-zom-rom-com! Give the synopsis and trailer a spin below.
Synopsis:
A zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven – at Christmas – forcing Anna and her friends to fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing the undead in a desperate race to reach their loved ones. But they soon discover that no one is safe in this new world, and with civilization falling apart around them, the only people they can truly rely on are each other.

Anna and the Apocalypse is directed by John McPhail and written by Alan McDonald with Ryan McHenry; the film stars Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cumming, and Sarah Swire.
