‘Villains Inc.’ Star Colin Mochrie On Strong Thighs and Fighting Villains [Watch]

If it did one thing, Todd Phillips’ Joker proved the insatiable demand by audiences to see Supervillains take the spotlight. The upcoming Joker: Folie à Deux has proved that demand hasn’t died down. But the Supervillains are hoarding the limelight away from the people who really put in the work: The Henchmen. It’s time the world cheered on these misunderstood miscreants for the trailblazers and agents of chaos that they are.
If you agree, then you’re in luck because the upcoming dark-comedy Villains Inc. revolves around a trio of henchmen who have to take over for their Supervillain’s enterprise of world domination after they accidentally destroy him. The trio of henchpeople are played by comedy veterans such as Studio C cast members Mallory Everton and Jason Gray, and the legendary Colin Mochrie of Whose Line Is It Anyways? fame.
Colin Mochrie sat down with Dread Central to discuss his favorite supervillains, improv comedy vs. scripted feature, and the surprising amount of squatting one has to do for action scenes.
