Magnolia Pictures has finally settled on its release plans for Lucky McKee and Trygve Allister Diesen’s Red, an adaptation of the Jack Ketchum novel of the same name.
All right, I wanted to wait until next week to give you guys a heads up on this, but this is too juicy to pass up. Dread Central is getting involved in a very cool project that will begin with a graphic novel called Minions of Ka and will end, we hope, on a global level. This is something that’s going to bring all fans of horror together with one of the coolest zombie stories you’ll ever hear. Needless to say, we’re very excited by it and the people we’re working with.
Variety is reporting that Magnolia Pictures has swept up the distribution rights to the adaptation of Jack Ketchum's Red.
Some good news came down the DVD wire via Fangoria yesterday, so I thought it only fair that we share it with those of you who are so dedicated to Dread Central you can’t even think about hitting other horror sites...
Remember the great news we gave you recently about our deal struck with Leisure Books to sell their mass market horror novels through Evilshop (“Leisure Coming to Evilshop!” – November 2007)? Well, today I’m happy to announce that over 100 great horror novels are officially in stock!
A whole lot of new DVD info came down via DVD Active and Fangoria over the past few days and instead of giving you one story for each, I figured it’d just make more sense to give it to ya hard and fast. The way you like it, you slut.
Check out your list of DVDs both good and bad come Tuesday, December 2nd, 2007...
The other day we did a story letting you know about all the kickass guests and badass bands that’ll be featured at this year’s Rock and Shock in Worcester, MA. One thing we didn’t mention, though, was all the movies that are playing as well!
