After months of waiting, Season 5 of "The Vampire Diaries" finally premieres this Thursday, October 3rd, and to reward your patience, here's the first clip from Episode 5.01, "I Know What You Did Last Summer."
With the fifth season of "The Vampire Diaries" premiering in just a few days, we knew it wouldn't be long before we heard from the resident bad boy, and here's a video chat with star Ian Somerhalder discussing how long Damon will manage to be happy this year.
Despite hints that we might get it yesterday, The CW still hasn't released the synopsis yet for "The Vampire Diaries" Episode 5.01, "I Know What You Did Last Summer." But in the meantime here's a new promo titled "Game Changer."
During the SDCC roundtables for "The Vampire Diaries," we chatted with most of the stars in attendance, but per usual the bulk of our info came from the show's executive producer, in this case Caroline Dries.

Elena Is Really Pissed in These New Photos from The Vampire Diaries Episode 4.21 - She's Come Undone
"The Vampire Diaries" Facebook page is home to five new images from the upcoming Episode 4.21, "She's Come Undone," and Elena definitely looks fit to be tied... or rather tied up. If pissing her off is what it takes to get her humanity back, Damon and Stefan are on the right track!
With only three episodes remaining in Season 4 of "The Vampire Diaries," all roads lead to graduation day, and we have a preview of Ep. 4.21, "She's Come Undone," along with the synopses of Eps. 4.22, "The Walking Dead" (seriously?), and 4.23, "Graduation" (of course!).
After much hooplah and building up our anticipation, tomorrow night we finally see The CW's backdoor pilot for "The Originals" (aka Episode 4.20 of "The Vampire Diaries"), and to get you even more excited, they've released a behind-the-scenes video for the ep.
While the first clip we saw from "The Vampire Diaries" Episode 4.20, entitled "The Originals," featured feuding brothers Klaus and Elijah, it's another set of siblings' turn in the spotlight as Stefan and Damon deal with one very hungry vampire.
