Exclusive: Debut of Beverly Lane Action Figures

Here’s a little secret about me: I love action figures. In fact, I’ve always wanted to get myself immortalized in action figure form. And while I wait to get that dream fulfilled, Dread Central recently learned of some really fun new action figures that are making their debut this October for the indie horror comedy Beverly Lane.

The Munsters Remake Coming to NBC

Even though it was tried before (and failed miserably), it looks like NBC is ready to head to the old haunted well one more time as talk of a remake of the classic television show "The Munsters" has just hit the Internet! According to Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello Files:

Time to Get Ugly Again! Ugly Americans Returns October 6th!

Sex Scenes Go All Spooky in Spoof Paranormal Whacktivity

It was only a matter of time before the Paranormal Activity spoofs started parading themselves around, and yes, one is in the works. Excited, aren't you?

MTV Beats off the Undead in Death Valley

MTV is in love with dabbling in the horror genre right now what with their upcoming projects Teen Wolf and of course My Super Psycho Sweet 16 Part 2 coming at us really soon. So what's next? Why cops vs. monsters of course!

Boy Scouts vs. Zombies - Crossing the Streets of Horror Comedy

Thus far we've had everything you can imagine "vs. Zombies" -- Aliens, Ninjas, hell, even Plants (well, especially Plants; that game rawks!). So the question beckons ... why not give the Boy Scouts a chance?

Hull, Joshua (Beverly Lane)

First-time filmmaker Joshua Hull doesn’t have a flashy Hollywood story about how he got into writing and directing films. In fact, his ten-year journey to getting his first feature made all began because of some pretty big life changes that would generally knock any normal person flat on his or her proverbial butt.

Exclusive One-Sheet Debut for Beverly Lane

A few months back Dread Central introduced you to one of our indie filmmakers to watch - Joshua Hull, who had just completed his first feature, Beverly Lane. Now Hull is about to unleash Beverly Lane on audiences in the Midwest, and we’ve got the details right here, including an exclusive look at the brand new one-sheet for the film.

M. Night Shyamalan - The Horrifying Fall!

What has happened to M. Night Shyamalan? He's gone from film genius to scourge in just a few years. Sure he's made some poor choices along the way ... aliens who can be killed by water invading a planet that consists of seventy percent of the deadly substance, horror hippies who didn't have the foresight to pack aspirin, and of course turning wind into a villain ... but this is the dude who gave us The Sixth Sense, a really slow movie that everyone shit their pants over with a great ending. Doesn't anyone remember?

Malcolm McDowell to Bare his Fangs as Vlad in Vamps

And the cast of Amy Heckerling's horror comedy Vamps just keeps on growing. We usually hate humor with our terror and would rather see vamps tearing throats out instead of mugging for the camera, but this one seems to be moving along just fine.

Monster Brawl Getting Ready to Rumble

Both the title and the concept sound like the basis for an old NES video game, but Monster Brawl is actually a horror-comedy now in production about ultimate monster fighting starring an eclectic cast of actors and talent from the world of pro wrestling and MMA.
