Friday the 13th
Someone very sneaky was on hand during the shooting of the new Friday the 13th and managed to snap some pretty candid shots of the new Jason Voorhees unmasked! The pics showed up today over on Horror Bid, and while they’re all pretty clear, it's still hard to make out the disfigured face too clearly.
A while back we gave you guys the first word that Paramount was finally laying down plans to get a real Friday the 13th box set out to fans (read it here), and over the weekend the first bit of confirmation came down from the wilds of Kentucky.
Pit of Horror and Dread Central regretfully announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances Fear Fest 3 is being rescheduled to February 20th-22nd, 2009. The most celebrated and wonderful holiday in the history of mankind, Halloween, is approaching us quicker than I think any of use realize and with the holiday comes the hauntings. The best place to experience real terror this season? Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights!
Last week we told you guys that a new documentary was being made about the legacy of the Friday the 13th franchise called His Name Was Jason. Our man Andrew Kasch just called in with some very good news for you Friday the 13th freaks out there...
As I'm sure you can tell from the amount of stuff we've been posting lately, we have covered the hell out of Comic-Con 08. The best part? We're still not even close to done.
The official website for the Platinum Dunes remake of Friday the 13th, starring Derek Mears as our favorite masked killer, has just become active. Sadly, there's not much on the site aside from a high resolution image of Jason's mask as it was seen in the recent posters.
Our intrepid reporters were not only running around Comic Con like mad men and women turning in stories this past weekend, but they took the time to chat up some famous people on camera, too! First up is an interview with the men behind the Friday the 13th remake!
I seriously doubt this will be up long, so make sure you get your eyes on it now if you really want to see a crappy shot-at-Comic-Con version of the Friday the 13th remake trailer.
