Some of the best games I've ever played,FF,FF2,and FF3.
Crimson Butterfly tops the list as favorite.
I got so scared playing that one that I tossed the controller 5 feet away, curled up in a ball, and haven't played it since. Laughing
Luckily,my sister played it.I just read the Walkthrough to get all the hidden ghostestess.

Any one else play it?

I do love the Fatal Frame, but FF3 was a disappointment. I didn't finish, the beginning just dragged so much that I never had the gumption to go back. I understand in the end it picks way up as things start bleeding through out of the dream world, but damn...how many times do I have to run back and forth across the same fucking mansion to dispel yet another ghost to open a door? It seems like they just forgot the ability to tell a story and made it into a supernatural key hunt like Doom, but with ghosts.

That said, bring on NextGen Fatal Frame!

It takes a while, but definately picks up.
If you can tough out the first bit,it's worth a play.

FF2 and Silent Hill 3 are the scariest games ever created (well that I have gotten my hands on , anyways).

Made sure to only play them at night (was really busy and got home approx midnight every night and played from midnight to 2am)
Made sure the surround sound was on
Made sure I played alone (room mates in bed...)

Dare you not to get freaked out in that kind of setting...
Smile

Have not heard good things about FF3 and have been waiting to find a used copy.

The 360 has been holding me over just fine....Smile

Tony

I've played Fatal Frame and would agree that is some freaky stuff going on there. Definitely have to have the lights out, surround sound up for maximum exposure, but hey you can say that for just about every movie then right?!?

and in the CLOSET and she like Jumps at you cuz she doesn't like you.;akjds.=/

there's all kinds of nifty things going on in the house.
Like a stain that starts one night and by the end of the game,is a FACE.

OK, so I just beat Hour III: The Subdued Song in FF3. Now spooky shit is starting to happen in my characters house while she's awake. Now THAT'S what I am talking about!

Seeing those legs standing behind the curtain of my storage area downstairs gave me the chills.

Has the stain on the wall started yet?it's right outside the developing room.
Just wait till the ghost in the kitchen shows.
Or the Stroller Granny.
Or the shower scenes.

DID I JUST SAY SHOWER SCENES?!?!
fuck yes I did.

FF3 has almost explicit shower scenes that go to hell in a hand basket quickly.

You'll be pleasantly scared UC.I agree! that's a promise. Twisted Evil

Wonderful idea, that is.Be careful though.I had to get GameFly specifically to rent this game.My local Blockbuster didn't carry it and had no plans too.
