You Can Wield Mega Man’s Arm Cannon In DEVIL MAY CRY 5

Capcom debuted a new trailer for Devil May Cry 5 at the Tokyo Game Show, which gives us an extended look at the fast-paced and frenetic combat which the series is known for. We learn from the trailer that aside from Dante and Nero, Devil May Cry 5 will feature a third playable character, who is currently only known as V, which, as you know, is the Roman numeral for the letter 5. However, it remains to be seen if this mysterious new character will connect to the game’s title in any way.
Best of all, if you grow tired of Dante’s signature dual pistols, you’ll be able to wield the iconic Mega Buster from Capcom’s Mega Man franchise. A second trailer released at TGS gives us a look at the iconic weapon in action, although so far, it has only been confirmed to be available in the Deluxe Edition.
Because this is 2018, Devil May Cry 5 will contain microtransactions, which can be used to purchase red orbs, which allow you to upgrade your character. Don’t act surprised, because we’re talking about Capcom, a company which infamously charged extra for content which was already on the disc for Street Fighter X Tekken, so scummy business practices are the norm for them. Either way, Devil May Cry 5 still looks awesome, so we can’t wait to play it when it releases on PC and consoles on 8 March 2019.
