A handful of rather bizarre DVD re-releases are on tap this week for some reason including Evil Remains, Shallow Ground, and Satan's Little Helper; but at least they're accompanied by several new films, a box set of the entire Friday the 13th: The Series, a twin-pack of Carnival of Souls in both color and black & white, and Shaun of the Dead and Godzilla on Blu-ray!

Rob Zombie's animated feature The Haunted World of El Superbeasto is receiving a limited theatrical release starting tomorrow, and it will be officially coming home to DVD and Blu-ray on September 22nd. To celebrate, we've scored another clip for you guys, this time introducing you to the well endowed Suzie X, voiced by Sheri Moon Zombie.

Along with Halloween II, Rob Zombie has another little movie coming out soon entitled The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, and to prove he hasn't forgotten about it, he and Anchor Bay have released a red-band trailer that shows off a bit more of his leading ladies' attitude ... and attributes.

A few days ago we reported that Rob Zombie’s creation The Haunted World of El Superbeasto was available for pre-order via several online retailers. At the time we didn’t have a release date, but today we’ve got word when to expect this twisted little animated flick.

The Haunted World of El Superbeasto looks to be one step closer to making its way into DVD collections everywhere; however, before you get too excited (if you would get excited, that is) note that the disc doesn't have an official release date yet.

It's been a while since we've heard anything new regarding The Haunted World of El Superbeasto, but today gossip site Defamer of all places boasts of having been provided "a sneak peek at the first footage ever shown of Rob Zombie's upcoming, decidedly R-rated animated film."

Of course, NECA would get the license to make figures based on Rob Zombie’s upcoming animated film The Haunted World of El Superbeasto. They’ve done well with Zombie’s films in the past, so it only makes sense.
