How do you get something both negative and happy? Make it Japanese! They can get away with pretty much anything over on their strange little island, as is evident by a new movie just announced for AFM, Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge!
What the hell is that, you ask? Hayato Ichihara (Ju-On 2), Itsuji Itao (Death Note: The Last Name) and Yosuke Asari star in a tale about a high scool wuss (Ichihara) who take sit up upon himself to save the girl he loves from the terrifying chainsaw man.
You have to see the teaser trailer posted on the official Nikkatsu site, the studio who produced it, to see just how fucking cool this thing looks. There’s an official site for Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge, as well, but it’s all in Japanese right now and only links to the Nikkatsu site.
We’ll be watching this one as close as we can so look for updates!
